At the Goffle Road Poultry Farm, we have taken many steps to ensure the safety of both our customers and our staff. Below you can find some of the practices we have taken, as well as how we are handling order and pickup.
Curbside Pickup
For those who do not wish to go inside the store, we have an overhang outside our front door for servicing customers. Once you have found a parking spot, walk over and check in at our outside station. If there is anything you want off the shelves inside, please let a representative know when you check in if you would like them brought outside.
Please be mindful of pedestrians when pulling into and leaving the parking lot.
Face Coverings
*Update May 28th. Customers and staff who have been fully vaccinated are not required to wear a face covering when shopping indoors. Customers and staff who have not received their vaccination are encouraged to wear a face covering when shopping indoors.
Wearing a mask helps others who are immune-compromised or living with high-risk family members stay safer when buying groceries for themselves and their family.
Social Distancing
When outside, there is ample room for customers to spread out and maintain a safe distance.
Customers are allowed to enter the store to shop and pay either inside or outside.
Adjusted Store Hours
The store will be open from 9:00 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. Monday – Saturday until further notice. Livestock sales and processing will end at 4:30 P.M. Closed on Sundays. For adjusted holidays hours, please check our homepage.
How to Order
You may place an order online using our “Shop” section, over the phone, or in person when you arrive.
We provide both digital and disposable menus.
Outside ordering is available; and you may wait outside until the order is completed, at which point we will bring it to you.
You do not need to place an order for most of the raw chicken and turkey products we offer. However, placing an order ahead of time will allow us to fill it in advance, and reduce the time you spend waiting.
We strongly recommend placing an order in advance for specialty items like rotisserie chicken and pot pies.
What Can Be Ordered?
Phone orders are great for reserving raw chicken and turkey items that take time to fill, including breasts, wings, thighs and drumsticks, etc.
Grocery items that would normally be available off the shelves in the retail store, including but not limited to pasta, frozen vegetables, milk, and bread cannot be reserved over the phone. When you arrive for pickup, please ask the staff outside what you are looking for, and we will be glad to fetch it so long as we have it in stock.
You can also quickly shop these items yourself in our store.
Payment Options
We are accepting all major forms of payment including credit card, check, & cash. We also accept contact-less forms of payment such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay.
Since many of our products are weighed by the pound, we cannot offer a total until the order has been fulfilled and weighed.
As a result, we are unable to accept credit card information in advance at this time. We can accept credit card information verbally once the total price for the order has been finalized or the customer has arrived for pickup.
Enhanced Cleaning
As part of our regular cleaning schedule, our butchers rinse and sanitize our wrap-up and pack-out working areas and floors. We spend the last hour of the day deep-cleaning work areas, including wash-down of the production tables and floor.
Commonly touched areas in our retail store including tables and doors are sanitized regularly during business hours and again after closing.
Hand sanitizer is available to all customers and employees at several locations.
Staff Screening
We monitor our employees for symptoms of illness.
If an employee is sick, or shows signs of illness, they are to stay home and rest until all of the symptoms have cleared.
